Details....
Cost: one night $25 per person
Two nights it's $35 per person
Includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
(Children under 12: stay free and $6 for food)
You can't beat that!
The only food you need to bring is snacks and your own cup.

Schedule...
A group and will leave on Friday at 10 am.
A 2nd group will leave Friday late afternoon.
The last team will leave Saturday at 8 am.
(please let us know which group you are leaving with so we can make arragements,
feel free to join us at Indian Creek at your leisure.)

We are GO for White Water Rafting!

Hey eXcursions Fans!,

We are a GO for White Water Rafting at the Ocoee River in TN
Labor Day Weekend

Cost is $335.00 Per Person.
Deposit of $100.00 (non-refundable) is due by the deadline date and can be paid by check (made payable to eXcursions) or cash.
Deadline for deposit is Sunday Aug 13.
(Sorry for the short notice.)

Space is limited. Once full, we can place you on a waiting list if you desire.

All expenses paid: Food, Lodging, Transportation, and Activities.
Activites include: Ropes course- High and low, Full day of Whitewater Rafting, Day hike to Benton Falls and possible waterpark adventure.

We will leave 8 pm Thursday night August 31 and will arrive back in the church parking lot Monday morning on September 4.

This means you only miss Friday at work and can still have plans for Labor Day!

$100 deposit will reserve your space.
Remember, If we don't receive a deposit...

you don't have a space!

Calling all whitewater Rafters!

Hello all. We just found out that we are going to be off of work for the white water rafting dates of Sept 1 - Sept 4th. We will leave the evening of August 31 and return the Morning of September 4. We are going to try to plan the trip if we can get enough people to confirm that thy want to go. We can only take approx 15 people. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are really interested in going so we know weather or not to go ahead and plan it.

Schedule for Saturday

will leave Saturday at 7 am.

Option of stopping on the way home at Carnes Catfish Kitchen for dinner

we should be out of the water b/w 3-4pm and
back at the main campus b/w 6-8pm depending where you stop for dinner.

6:30 am Meet at Main Campus...Sign in and Fill out Medical Release form
6:45 am find rides and load up cars.
6:55 am Meet with Team Leaders for final instructions and prepare to depart
7:00 am depart for Black Creek
7:45 am arrive Hammond McDonald's Exit 40 (stop for breakfast and potty break)
8:15 am leave for Black Creek from McDonald's
9:15 am arrive Mississippi Welcome Center(Potty Break)
9:30 am leave MS Welcome Center for Black Creek
10:45 am Arrive at Black Creek for instructions
Please gather all gear and wait for final instructions.
we will all launch our boats together!

Time for Canoeing!

Canoeing on the Black Creek!
July 15,2006
Cost is $20 per person. (2 people per canoe)
(you can upgrade to a kayak for an extra $10)
Open to adults 18 and up.
Ages 12 - 17 must be accompanied by a guardian.
We will leave HPC parking lot 7:00am Saturday.

Reserve your spot now! $10 deposit due by July 12

Equiptment list as follows:

  • swim suit. HPC rule: Girls - one piece only (no tankines) Guys - no speedos
  • sack lunch and drinks
  • small icechest (personal 6-12pk size )
  • towel
  • hat, sunscreen, sun glasses, chapstick
  • aqua socks / water shoes or old tennis shoes that can get wet. THE WATER IS VERY LOW AT POINTS; YOU WILL HAVE TO GET OUT OF YOUR CANOE TO PUSH.
  • bug spray
  • change of clothes and extra towel (you might want to keep this in the car)
  • 2-way radio in a ziploc bag (w/ sub codes we will be on radio frequency of 7-15 FRS radios) - this is not a necessity, but helps.
  • bungie cord - to strap down items.
  • 2-5 gal ziplock bags are good to hold your items in so they won't get wet (can be found at Acadamy)
  • everything must be strapped down...not if, but when you get wet. You will get wet!

Zoo trip cancelled

For those who were planning to go to the Baton Rouge zoo, we're sorry to tell you we've had to cancel the trip. Our next eXcursion is Canoeing July 15.
