Who's up for Backpacking?

Kisatchie National Forest

Backbone Trail Backpacking trip

March 14, 15 & 16

Cost $10 plus money for Trip there and back

2 options for leaving

1st group leaves 8am Friday March 14

2nd group leaves Noon Friday March 14

If you are wanting to bring your child or teenager,

they must be able to carry their own gear and make the hike!

Details....

This is a backpacking trip not a
"pull up to your campsite" trip.

We will be hiking in
approx. 5 miles to campsite and 5 miles out.

Start getting in shape now.

FAQs…

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes. Dress in layers!!!
Good pair of hiking shoes, preferably high-tops w/ good treads

If you are buying new hiking boots,
now is the time to get them and break them in!

Guidelines...
We just have a few guidelines to issue before our eXcursion.
Sign in when you arrive at the church or meet up with a group
We are going as a group with the same purpose and vision.
No Cursing, no alcohol, no crude talk or behavior, &
no sharing tents of the opposite sex unless married
Most important. HAVE FUN!!!
Remember who you are in Christ and who we represent!

Did someone say camping?

Indian Creek overnight camping
February 22, 23 & 24


It's the 1st eXcursion
of the year.
You won't want to miss this one!

Please let us know ASAP if you are coming
and if you are bringing a guest(s)!!!!

We need a headcount for food and tents by
Sunday, Febuary 17 plus $10 deposit.


Kids are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a guardian.

Details....
Cost: one night $25 per person
Two nights it's $35 per person
Includes Breakfast and Dinner
(Children under 12: stay free and $6 for food
You can't beat that!
The only food you need to bring is lunch & snacks.

Schedule...
2 groups will leave on Friday time TBD.
The last team will leave Saturday at 8 am.
(please let us know which group you are leaving with so we can make arragements,
feel free to join us at Indian Creek at your leisure.)

Meet in the new parking lot across the street (HPC Blvd.) from the Pond at the main campus.

Indian Creek Rd is on the left once on that road you'll see the gate.

We're Back!


It's hard to believe
that are youngest eXcursions member is
3 months old!



We welcomed Micaiah James Reynolds on
November 9, 2007 @ 10:51am.

Weighing 6lbs 5.7 oz. and 18.25 inches long.
We have great pictures on his

We are now back and ready for the new year.
